The West Virginia Masonic Home, located at 3826 Murdoch Avenue on a hill above the current Grand Central Plaza, was built in the early 1920s. Formerly a home for orphans, it is presently a retirement facility.
This is a grand old place, with an old library, it is huge and stately. It has about 15 residents living there, and much of the facility is exatly as it was in the 1930s.
