John E Williams and Ruth O Williams are on the Wirt County Virginia(WV) 1850 census just above my great great grandfather Mathew Williams. There is a list of their children as well. I have some information from following the censuses in WV. One son is Otho H Williams which I beleive is Otho Holland Williams. Not sure how John E is related, but Mathew names one of his sons John Edward. I am guessing that he is a brother or uncle of Mathew.

I have not followed this family further. Some of the family returns to Wirt in the 1870 Census.

I have heard that there are Young's somewhere in the family.
