Burl Francis Quinn, 76 of Smithfield, WV passed away of Saturday, July 7, 2012 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born October 1, 1935 at Smithfield, WV, a son of the late Harry Quinn and Leona Edgell Quinn.

He is survived by wife, Sara Quinn of Smithfield, WV; 16 children, Christina Fulton and husband Neil of Covington, GA, Mary Ann Wells and husband Ronald of East Liverpool, OH, Nancy Elizabeth Virden and husband James of East Liverpool, OH, Susan Kupelian and husband Richard of Goodlettsville, TN, Donald Harold Quinn and wife Debbie of East Liverpool, OH, Dennis Francis Quinn of East Liverpool, OH, Judith Hernandez and husband Lorenzo of Shenandoah, VA, Kathy Leek of East Liverpool, OH, Donna Wilmoth and husband James of Harrisonburg, VA, Marybeth Quinn and companion James Remamo of Lakefield, FL, Janice Adams of Shenandoah, VA, Julie Stewart and Bobby Williams of Elkton, VA, Burl Francis Quinn, Jr. and wife Donita of Elkton, VA, Rhonda Currier and Michael Howard of Hundred, WV, Rachelle Johnson and husband Chris of Lowell, OH, Christopher Currier of Lowell, OH; his second wife, Laverna Quinn of Shenandoah, VA; 38 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harry Quinn and wife Doris of Rochester, PA; two sisters, Maxine Vervett of Industry, PA and Violet Rhor of East Liverpool, OH; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Burl was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Thompson; a son, Jack Daniel Quinn; a grandson, Eric Quinn; and a brother, Norman Quinn.

Burl was self-employed and a farmer. He enjoyed hunting and working on vehicles.

Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Pricetown Cemetery.
