ICE, Norman Lloyd, 58 of Piney, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, West Virginia.

He was a member of the Reader Church of Christ. He was retired from McElroy Coal Company with over 37 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray U. Ice; two sisters, Genevieve Nolan and Carol Ann Staley.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Wichterman Ice; his mother, Ruth Hayes Ice of Porterfalls, West Virginia; a son, Brian (Brandy) Ice of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Lori (Pete) Rogers of Eleanor, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Baylee and Madyson Rogers; and Dawson and Lyla Ice; one brother, Ray (Thelma) Ice of Reader, West Virginia; one sister, Loretta Hoit of Wellsburg, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, West Virginia, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday. Interment will be at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Hastings, West Virginia.
