Greathouse, Grace Ann, 54, of Pine Grove, passed away on October 23, 2009, at her home.

She was a Baptist by faith. She was born on June 27, 1955, in rural Wetzel County, the daughter of the late Robert & Nellie (Daily) Hixenbaugh.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Rice.

Surviving is her husband, William "Bill" Greathouse,; a daughter, Sheila Greathouse of Pine Grove,; a granddaughter, Cheyeanne McGee; two brothers, Ralph Hixenbaugh of Benwood and Robert Hixenbaugh Jr. of Burton; four sisters, Laura Wolfe of Hundred, Bizzie Hixenbaugh of Wileyville, Cassie Maverty of Buchannon, and Elizabeth Thomas of Wana, W.Va; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received from 4-8 p.m. October 27 at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, where funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. Interment in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Hastings.
