McAllister, Fannie M. formerly of Reader, died Thursday, August 19, 1993 in Hartland of Clarksburg Nursing Home. She was 101. She was born July 19, 1893 in Piney, Wetzel County, a daughter of the late Alex and Cynthia Morgan Martin. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Reader. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Harris, in 1920; her second husband, Thomas McAllister, in 1936; two sons, Grant Harris and Lee Harris; two daughters, April Johnson and Ruby Thomas; eight brothers; a sister; eight grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, James Harris of Paden City and Gerald McAllister of Sistersville; two daughters, Lennie Talkington of Philippi and Imogene Fluharty of Piney; a sister, Lila Postlethwait of Reader; 25 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove where services were held. Interment in Wiley Cemetery, Piney.
