Today I saw a familhy bible at an antiques store in Dallas TX which includes information on the family of Bailey N. Yates, born 1843. I searched census records and found a Bailey N. Yates on the 1880 census of Fayette Co. Ohio with West Virginia listed as the place of birth. What appears to be the same Bailey Yates is listed on the 1880 and 1900 censuses of Taylor Co., West Virginia. The bible includes information on the wife and children of this man. It would be great if it could be returned to its rightful place with relatives of the Yates family. If anyone has an interest in this bible please contact me.

My gg grandmother was Huldah Jane Yates from Taylor County. Her brother was Bailey Yates b. 1845 and died in 1926. I've not researched Bailey's family but I'm almost sure there are some of his decendants still in Taylor County. Bailey's parents would have been Thomas Yates and Anne Griffin, my ggg grandparents. I would have interest in the bible and will try to use my contacts in Taylor County to find interested parties.
