I need some information on what I believe must have been the poorhouse for Taylor County. I show my grandmother, Ada R Funk and her brothers, John, Earl, Lawrence, and Dorsey in census records that reflect they were "inmates" at the court house.

I would love to have any information or records about the poorhouse. Was it a physical place? Are there any books about it?
