Does anyone have any Clarks of VA/WVA who may have adopted, raised an orphan, or had gardianship of a child by the name of William White about or during the period of 1817-1830.
My fathers direct line is White (surname) and I was told a story about how on their way west they, the White family were attacked by Indians and the only survivor was a child named William White who was raised by a family named Clark who settled in VA/WVA. This is my brick wall and it has been for 10 years. If anyone has any info please contact me Sheila (White) at sbitcarb@hughes.net
