Mrs. Lexie Mae Moss Boring, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center, Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio, with all her family by her side.

Mae was born July 3, 1937 in Reedy, West Virginia the daughter of Thomas and Frances (Wright) Moss who proceeded her in death.

In addition to her parents an infant brother Holly Moss, brother Rocky Moss, sister Violet Richardson, step-son Robert Boring and infant granddaughter Amber Frank.

Mae was a proud business owner of Bow-wow Boutique, Newark. She loved grooming pets which she did for over 40 years. She married James Boring on September 14, 1984.
They were members of Newark Eagles #387 and the Newark Church of Christ.
Mae also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.

Surviving Mae is her husband James Boring; son Paul Ray (Donna) Stephens of Goshen, Indiana; daughters Beverly Lawrence of Columbus, Ohio, Denise (Michael) Alloway of Marysville, Ohio and Melissa (Matt) Stearns of Pataskala, OH; step-sons Randal Boring of Wheeling, WVA and Roger (Steph) Boring; step-daughter Rita (Rick) VanSickle; grandchildren Kristy Klopenstine, John Lawrence, Jennifer Lawrence, Kimberly Stephens, Corey and Lindsey Frank, Deborah O'Neal Stearns, Ethan, Aaron Stearns and Ali Stearns, Kristi Atherton, Payten and Reis Boring as well as five great grandchildren; brothers Earl (Bonnie) Moss and Virgil Moss both of Newark, Ohio.
Funeral services for Lexie "Mae" Boring will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, with Pastor Ralph Nethers presiding.
Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Ohio.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.



A special "Thanks" from the family to the oncology department and Hospice of Central Ohio.
