I feel like I need to clear up some things regarding Elizabeth Victoria Reedy. I have been to the Archives and found the death notice for Elizabeth.

She died December 7, 1925 at the age of 76, which puts her birth around 1849. She was married at the time of her death. Parents were James Reedy and Jane Black of North Carolina. She died of double pneumonia/senility.

The name of her husband is not listed. The informant was Anna S. Wallace.

I can only conclude that she is not the mother of Walter Sampson Henson and was not married to John Henson the father of Walter Sampson. I feel pretty confident that the mother of Walter was Phoebe Maxey
