Just getting started on the West Virginia part of my ancestry search, but I know that Valentine Kile/Coil's son Gabriel Coil married Rebecca Skidmore. I just participated in the Valentine Coil DNA Project and I am directly related back through my dad, Raymond, Elmer, Willis, William Madison, William, James, Gabriel, and finally Valentine Coil(who immigrated to Philadelphia (1749), and then on into the mountains. My part of the Coil clan moved to Ohio in the early nineteenth century. So, we are related through Rebecca.
