Seeking further information on John McBride said to have been born (according to a written/verbal account given by his granddaughter) in Wheeling VA in 1780. Married Kexiah Williams believed to have been born 13 Dec 1776.

At least one of their children was born in Wayne Couty, OH in 1809.

Would like more info. on John. Trying to trace the name back to Scotland (his granddaughter in her statement said he was Stoch).
