I've read many of the postings regarding this book, and it seems as if there’s a lot of valuable information contained within it. However, I have not seen a posting of anyone willing to do look ups. With the fact that the book appears so difficult to obtain, is there anyone willing to look up the John Roach family history? I’m specifically looking for a Robert Roach m. Margaret Miller. They had a son Lue b. July 3, 1880, Wirt Co., WV. I’ve tried to locate Robert Roach in the 1880 census, but there were only two old enough to be my Lue’s father, one of them being from Morgan County. In Lue’s obit, it states that he was preceded in death by a ½ brother and ½ sister. It also states that he was survived by three ½ sisters: Ida REYNOLDS, Clarice MILLSTEAD, and Emma SWRINGER.

If anyone has access to the book and is willing to look up the information for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Dennis,

I DO NOT have the book but your posting was timely as I just today went to my library where there is a copy.

I looked under the John Roach listing and did not see any information that appeared to match your inquiry....there was also no information under the Millers that I saw by quickly scanning.

However, something did pop right out at me under the John Roach listing. It stated ... "One of John Earl's brothers is Jesse Delmar who lives in Berkeley Springs. He has two children Charles Luetta and grandchildren." Since you were referencing a Lue and a Luetta came up in the text I thought that was interesting.

Sorry that nothing more came up.

Ginger

I just came across your message about the Morgan County West Virginia book and I see it had a Buser listed in it. My relatives was Theodore Buser from Berkeley Springs, WV does it have anything about him or his descendents in it? I would welcome any help, thanks, Betty

Please allow me to remind everyone that I do not have this book. I posted the names from a list I had written from the book. If I am headed to the library in my area I have looked up information but since I am not planning on a trip to the library in the near future I would appeal to others on the board who have this publication. I hope that someone will be able to come forward to help. I will monitor the board and if you have not received help by the time I next visit the library I will try to help you.

I am doing some family history research and I don't know much about my family. All I know that my Great Grandfather Paul Franklin Arnica is from the Paw Paw area of WV. I do not know who his parents were and would like to find out about my family history. He was born in 1899. If you have some information on his family I would greatly appreciate it. Please contact me. Thanks for your time.

Shannon,
Paw Paw is in Morgan Co. W.Va. so you might want to look at the census for Morgan Co.
I found a Thomas W. Arnica who died on Feb 02 1892. Born and died in Cacapon, W. Va. His parents were Henry R. and Mary Arnica. He was unmarried, He was killed on B&O RR where he was a brakeman. Good luck with your search. Virginia
