Hello
Fifteen years later, I am replying to your post. Reese's father (possible grandfather, there is a generational gap I haven't solved yet) was the son of Ezra Youngblood, an English orphan who was sailing on a trading ship. He stayed ashore at Paw Paw to start a trading company and married a local Indian girl named Sparkling Waters. Her father affectionately called him young blood, and he made the nickname his official name. Reese had many siblings, I am descended from his sister, Elizabeth Ann, who married Leonard Luttrell. They had Mary Ellen Luttrell, who married George Washington Whisner, who are my great grandparents. See my tree WHISNER, under ljwhisn. Do not hesitate to contact me with questions about the origins of this info.
