In most of my research I have found Thomas
Sims and Mary Jane
BAtes listed as Sarah Ellen
Sims parents.
In early Aug. I was able to visit the
Union Co courthouse and found the original marriage certificate for Sarah Ellen
Sims and Mathew Alexander
Wiseman. I was taken back to find Robert and Sarah
Sims listed as Sarah Ellen's parents. There,also,was a statement signed by "Sally
Sims" that she had no objection to the marriage.
Can anyone clarify this for me ??
