I am brick walled with my 3rd great-grandfather Reuben/Rubin Askins in Monogalia County WV.
He can be shown to have sold land, about 100 acres near Sandy Creek. Also known to be in Preston County just before he moved to Ohio in 1817. I am trying to get a family tree backwards from his dates of about 1774-1859. If there is anyone who can establish connections for this relative, I would appreciate the help.
