Jimboy65 list a Mary Wilson as being a sister to Humphrey. I have a gr.gr.gr grandmother named Mary Wilson who married Thomas Miller of Mon. Co. Thomas Miller was the son of Jacob Miller who was killed by the Indians with John Woodfin when returning to Fort Cobun from the fields. Thomas and Mary had a son James who married Azeneth Wells and there daughter Emily Miller married my Gr. grandfather James Boyd. I do not know for certain that this is same Wilson family you are refering to. There is a land grant listed for a George Willson at the Library of Va. northern neck land grants. Wilson with 2 Ls. This research was done by my late cousin years ago and passed on to me. This is all the further she went. I do not know if the land grant was for the father George or the son George. I have found no marriage record for Thomas and Mary in Mon. Co. court house. Thomas died in 1814 and Mary in the 1850s. All are buried at Fairview Cem. on old Grafton Rd. by the Fairview Methodist church ouside of Morgantown. There are several George Wilsons mentioned in History of Monongalia by Errol Core.
