I'd like to make contact with any WHITE or DARLING researchers with connections to Monongalia County WV and Greene County PA.
William White and Mary DARLING are my 4G-grandparents. He was born 15 AUG 1783 near Baltimore, Maryland. He married Mary DARLING on 25 DEC 1809. She was born on 30 SEPT 1791, in Kent County DE. William died on 02 MAR 1860 and Mary on 28 SEPT 1878. They are both buried in the family cemetery on the farm in Maple, Monongalia County, WV. The family cemetery is right behind the house they built about 1820. They raised all 11 children in this house, 10 boys and 1 daughter.
Currently the site has a permanent shelter for the annual White Family Reunion. The 110th was just held. There is a terrific book available on these White's and the following generations available from Lucinda Six-Kinley. Almost 700 pages of descendants, including Mary White's autobiography, are included. Contact me for the address if you are interested in a copy.
