Dora Jean Barker (1922/1988) of Morgantown, W.Va., married James Edward Carroll (1922/1981) of Ashland, Ky., in 1946. They met during World War II. Jean's parents were William Wellington Barker and wife Margaret "Margie" Johnson. Jim's parents were Walter John "Stubby" Carroll, born in Carter County, Ky., and wife Anna Dale Russell.
