I have been trying without success to find someone who can help me find the grave site or death date of FAJ. He was my great grandfather with my great grandmother being his second wife, Mary Victoria Chambers. Some years ago I traveled down to the Mingo County area and no one could seem to help me. I had a cousin of my father's who told me some years ago that FAJ was buried about 10 miles up Blackberry Creek at Ransom in KY. I couldn't find a cemetery there and like I said, no one seemed to know anything about him. I have not been able to find a death certificate in either the WV or KY archives so don't know if he even had a certificate sent to the appropriate state agency. I wrote to someone online during the winter who said they did a lot of research on the Mingo and area cemeteries but they never got back to me on FAJ. It seems that no body in the area wants to even talk about him. Perhaps you or someone else researching the Farrell/Ferrell line can help me. Thanks for your help.
