I feel like this is the same line. My great-great grandfather was Tom Kirk. He was married the an Elizabeth (Betty) Maynard. They seperated and he went to the Kermit/Inez area. He had another large family there and apparently owned a considerable amount of land on Wolf Creek, KY. I know this because in the early 60's, my grandmother and her brothers and sisters (or their descendants) received an inheiritance when this land was sold to a coal company. The only child of this second family that I know is Millard. He visited my family in the 60's. He was probablly around 70 then. The Pearl I mentioned was (I think) a child of one of Tom's children.
