KEGLEY — Nora B. Mahon, 82, of HC 58, Box 30 in Kegley died Friday, September 11, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born July 24, 1927 in War Eagle, W.Va. she was the daughter of the late Bill and Brookie Belcher Matney. She was a homemaker and a member of the Princeton Church of Christ. She had been a resident of Princeton since 1990 moving here from Mingo County, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Elliott Mahon; one son, Edgar C. Mahon; and four brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Hatfield of Kegley and Pauline Blubaugh and husband Harold of Princeton; three sons, Robert E. Mahon and wife Sue of Bean Station, Tenn., Carlis Mahon of Princeton, and Garlin Mahon of Sarah Ann, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Rhonda Maynard and husband Kevin, Kenneth Hatfield and wife Michelle, Sayedah Mahon, Bobbi Burress, Tonya Mahon, Tony Mahon and wife Kim, TaKara Muncy and husband Keno and Brandon Mahon and wife Heather; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Lou Kennedy and her husband Grover of Suffolk, Va.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Princeton Church of Christ with Pastor Gary Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2009 (today). Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seaverfuneralservice.com.
