My grandfather was Lorenzo Cleveland Auvil, son of George Baxter Auvil and Melissa E. White. His mother died in May 1892 just before my grandfather turned 4 in Aug. His father remarried to Annabelle Florence Gilmore and they moved to AL when my grandfather was a young teenager. There were quite a few siblings with his birth mother and half siblings with his stepmother.
