Let me give you the "Readers Digest" version. It looks as though you have already been to the Marshall County, WV. site hosted by Linda Cunningham Fluharty - LCFlu@aol.com - www.lindapages.com
I am the Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandson of Zachariah G. White, Sr., who is buried on the Fletcher Farm Cemetery. Rachel White was one of his daughters and the sister of my Gr. Gr. Grandfather, Milton Bailey White.
The only historical information I have on David Clyde comes from the "Portrait and Biographical Record of Tazewell and Mason Counties, Illinois", published in 1894 by the "Biographical Publishing, Chicago, IL.", personal research in the US and WV archives (census records, etc.), several trips to the Fletcher Farm Cemetery and from research done and shared by Charlene M. Pipkin, a Clyde Family researcher.
David and Ann's children were (to the best of my knowledge) Nancy Clyde b. ca. 1812, Elizabeth Clyde b. 8/19/1817 - d. 10/23/1865 in Mason County, IL., m. ca. 1836 to William W. White (son of Zachariah G. White, Sr.), Mary Ann Clyde b. ca. 1818, and William Clyde b. 2/29/1820 - d. 12/17/1890, m. Rachel White ca. 1845.
William and Rachel had the following children;
David P. b. ca. 1845, Zachariah, b. 8/27/1846 - d. 6/12/1847, Milton B. b. 5/14/1848 - d. 6/30/1851, Eleanor A. b. ca. 1851.
The Mary Daughtery you mention appears to be the second of three wives for William, according to Charlene M. Pipkin in her research paper titled "William Clyde Research Paper - Deserted First Family"
