Hi everybody, I've hit that same 'brickwall' that everyone else seems to have hit. I'm looking for any info on my grand and greatgrand parents. I have no info whatsoever on greatgrandparents. In hopes that someone out there can guide me in the right direction, the following is what I have on my grandparents. Most of which I have obtained through a 1900 Kentucky Census Index. The county is Todd. Other info was obtained through talks with family members, personal knowledge, and family data sheets completed at family reunions.

John Bell Davis b. December, 1873 in Tennessee. His parents were born in Kentucky. He married Queen Isabelle Bunton. She was b. May, 1876 in Tennessee. Her parents were born in Tennessee. Some info on their children is as follows. Mary Eddie b. June 22, 1893 in Kentucky. She married Harrison Suggs. Nathan B. b. December, 1895 in Kentucky. Arlenia b. July, 1897 in Tennessee. Margaret b. February 29, 1917 in Beckley, WVA. She married Woodrow Cherry. Pearl b. 1918. She married Carl Turner (& Freddie Veasley?). Simon "Clyde". James A."Sugarbowl" b. October 10, 1904 in Madisonville, KY. He died in Fairmont, WVA and has a Baseball Field named after him. He married Virginia Jackson. George Alexander Davis b. July 3, 1919 in Fairmont, WVA (my dad). He married my mother Mona Rose Winland (d. 6-23-1995 Akron, OH). Me? I married a Foster from W-S, NC.

Per his death certificate grandpa died February 14, 1919 in Annadale(where?) in a coal mining accident. Grandma, Aunt Mary, Aunt Margaret and Aunt Pearl died in Cleveland, OH. Uncle Sugarbowl (James) died in WVA. Daddy is still living. Have no further info on some aunts/uncles or grandparents and NOTHING on greatgrandparents. As you can see, the family traveled around a lot.

If you have any info that would help knock down some or all of this 'brick wall', I would greatly appreciate it. THANKS!
