I am looking for more information on my grandfather...John Bell Davis. He was born in Tennessee. He and his wife and children traveled during the late 1800's between Tennessee and Kentucky. Children were born in both states. They later moved to Fairmont, West Virginia where more children were born. The last was my father George Alexander Davis born July 3, 1919. Later, many of this family moved to Cleveland, Ohio where many of my cousins currently reside. My father is the only living child of his parents. I received my grandfather's death certificate which states he was a coal miner and died February 14, 1919 in 'Annabelle'. Grandma was pregnant with daddy when grandpa died. The funeral home/caretaker was E. Musgrave & Sons. I have been unable to find any further information on grandpa or the coal mining accident. Any information about this coal mining accident or this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
