Mary "Polly" GRIMMETT married 18 Nov 1879, Summers Co., WV, John M. WYANT. She was age 30, single, born Monroe Co., WV and he was age 27, widowed, and also born Monroe Co., WV.

They appear together on the 1880 federal census as John M. and Mary WYANT Summers Co., WV. In 1900, they have been married 20 years, and have one child, a daughter, Carrie Miller WYANT, born 25 July 1883, Summers Co., who married Roy BILLINGSLEY. These two families both lived together in Batavia, Clermont, Ohio after leaving WV. John M. WYANT must die between 1910-1920, when Mary becomes a "widow" on the 1920 and 1930 censuses. Look for death records in Clermont Co., OH. Mary "Polly" was very old (age 87) in 1930 - she must have died not too long after then.
