Mr. Odbert R. Collins, 79, of Huntington, husband of Marguerite Dillon Collins, passed away Sunday, July 9, 1995, in Pulley Care Center, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Chapman's Mortuary, with the Rev. Wade Roach officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W. Va. He was born March 19, 1916, in Lincoln county, a son of the late Roscoe and Lola Ellen Dailey Collins. He was a member of Sunset Chapel Baptist Church. He was a retired plumber and fitter from Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 521. He also was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Stowers; and two brothers, Ottie and Albert Collins. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Steve Collins of Proctorville, Ohio, and Ronald A. Collins of Chillicothe, Ohio; one stepson, Robert Ullom of Huntington; three sisters, Rose Yeager, Velma Midkiff and Naomi Collins, all of West Hamlin, W. Va.; two brothers, Golden Collins of Milton, W.Va., and Odell Collins of Chesapeake, Ohio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Chapman's Mortuary.
