I have seen this several times on the message board.Going through my family records John Thomas Browning owned a store and beer joint on top of the hill on Rt 10 West Hamlin, the bear was chained to a tree and would drink beer. People would pay money to wrestle this bear. I have not found any pictures of this bear. I have heard this through my uncle and has talked to the I think great grandson of Tom.
