I am interested in the Wood-Woods family that came from the vicinity of Shepherdstown, Jefferson Co., W. Va. There is a John Wood-Woods from this area who came to Ross Co., Ohio sometime between l805-l809. They were first in Kentucky, then to Ross Co., Ohio. John Wood-Woods settled in Jefferson Twp. Ross Co., Ohio and appears in the l820 census. His daughter Catherine (l802-l865) married Andrew Westfall (l792-l839)l2 Feb. l8l8. In l824 Andrew Westfall and his wife, Catherine went to Knox Co., Indiana where they settled.
