This is what i have of Michael and the Militia

Michael was known as Captain Mike, he was appointed a Captain in the 153rd Militia State Troops by then Governor Pierpoint before legislation was passed creating the State Militia. he along with several of his Children and family members served in this Militia. Michael is also listed in the Record of Service of Connecticut men in the Army and Navy of the USA during the War of the Rebellion, also Enlistment records indicate as well that Michael was in the US Army he is shown Signing up on Feb 16 1842,

Is this all that i need?? i have a contact at the Local Ripley Library I will see what i can find out thru her thank you so much for all of your help and yes you can use this to post on your site if you wuoild like additional information about Michael please let me know and i can give you a list of his children and Grandchildren and in some cases even G GG and GGG grandchildren.
