Holidays Cove used to be a small town that is now the southern part of Weirton, WV. New Cumberland is the county seat. Weirton is divided between 2 counties; Hancock and Brooke. Does Robert Campbell fall in your family tree? I know that he is somehow connected with the Truax homestead. That is something I am interested in. The Truax home goes back to 1785 but not under that name. Someone just sent me that Campbell's donated the land for 3 Springs Cemetary in Weirton. It is a very old cemetary. I hope this helps.
