I'm trying to find information on my gr-gr-grandfather John McCrea. He shows up in the 1850-1870 census data in Brooke and Hancock Co. WV. Census data lists him as born in PA. He was married sometime before 1850 to Martha who was born in VA (probably the part that later became WV) abt 1827. He died Sept. 1870.

They had 12 children, William, Julia, Robert, Walter, Nancy, Elizabeth, Mary, John (my gr-grandfather), Charles, Ella, Maggie and Olive.

I'd love to find more about him and Martha, or to find any cousins (I ought to be related to a lot of McCreas thru this line).
