Chris,
I believe I have some good news for you. I talked to Pam Makricosta at the Weirton Library and I think she is the one you need to contact. She recognizes the Panzikis family name and the Adalis and she believes she has a living person that either knew the families or are related to the families. She mentioned John Pandelios as a contact for the Adalis name and Mary Vanezalos as a contact for Panzikis name. She may even be related. She said a lot of families moved to Baltimore; so many that they have a reunion up there. I talked to her by phone around Nov. 15. She sounded excited. Tell her Vanessa talked to her about the names you are inquiring about. Her email address is: makricos@weirton.lib.wv.us
I'm excited. Please let me know if she was able to help you out. Hey I even looked at a picture of Avenue B that was taken around 1910 or 1920. Wow. This picture was at the museum, which is in its infancy. They are now part of the Visitors' Bureau and are trying to get reorganized. The museum still does not have a pernament home. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
Thanks,
Vanessa
