Hello, I'm seeking information on which Brown family my Nancy Brown comes from. She was born between 1800 & 1810 in Virginia, possibly in Greenbrier County. On 18 Aug 1825 in Greenbrier Co, Va, Nancy married John Jones, who was born in 1796 in Greenbrier Co, VA (WV), Their children are: James Harvey Jones, b. 1826/1827, in VA; William Jones, b. 1828, VA; my direct ancestor, Henry Alexander Jones was b. 15 Jan 1830, Lewisburg, Greenbrier Co, VA (WV); Charles Jones, b. 1832, VA; Mary Jones, b. 1833, VA; Madison Jones, b. 1835, VA; John Jones, b. 1836, VA; Samuel Jones, b. 1837, VA, & Philip Jones, b. 1840, Indiana. John , Nancy & their family went to Woodford Co, Ill & then ended up in Huntsville, Madison Co, IND. Their land in the Fall Creek Twp. area of Madison Co. have neighbors of Martin Brown & Lorenzo Brown, but I have no idea if they are relatives or not. Nancy & her husband, John Jones, died and are buried in Fall Creek Twp, Madison Co, IND. Her parents must have been born between 1780 & 1790 somewhere?
