BAYARD..Mrs. Mary E. Reel, 86, died at her home Sunday.
Born December 18, 1892 in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Daniel M. Tenney and Mrs. Agnes E. (Hicks) Tenney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman T. Reel.
Mrs. Reel was a member of the Bayard United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Guthrie and Mrs. Flossie Gortner, both of Bayard; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Wentz, Glendale, Ariz.; Mrs. Myrtle Booth, Elkins; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be conducted in the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, today at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Ray Rodehaver. Interment will be in Bayard Cemetery.
