I am searching for information on my great great grandfather, John W. Jones 1929-1916. The 1900 and 1910 census both show him residing at Sewell Mountain, Fayette County. I don’t know where he is buried. The West Virginia vital records do not have any birth, marriage, or death records for him. His birth, marriage, and death dates I have gotten off ancestry.com family trees. His wife was Mary Crow (1836-1906). I believe his parents are Thomas Jones and Nancy Tye but do not have proof of this. If you have any info or advice for my search I would greatly appreciate it.
