Looking for information on Moore's from Fayette county. All I know is my father Sylvester (Bill) Moore was born in Fayette county

My great grandfather was John Moore but that's about all I can find out as almost all relatives have passed on. My grandmother was a Moore before she married my grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Keeney.

My GGgrandfather was James Moore who married Sarah Jones and had my GGrandmother in 1880 in Fayette Co. VA. I know she has a brother names Geo He lived in Washing Stated in the 1900. My GGrandmothe was named Jennie She married Samuel C. Tomlonson in Washin gton State and then move to Oregon and died there in 1962.

I'm putting together my Moore line from Clay, Nicholas, &Kanawha Counties. One big part of my family data comes from Donald Pomeroy at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Farm/4653/moore.html. I didn't find a direct file for my direct line on Don Norman's central WV families http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hcpd/norman/MOORE/, but my line connects to info in his files on Walker, Legg, Throckmorton/Morton/Martin. At this time, several links on the Fayette Co site at rootsweb aren't working and not much data for Fayette is on West Virginia Vital Research http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_select.aspx.
My interest in Fayette county is for two names: 1. David B Moore age 22 (born in Greenbrier, living in Fayette) married Laucy/Lani E/Laury Walker age28 b&living in Fayette, daughter of Madison &Mary (Amick) Walker on 12Mar1867 in Nicholas Co by minister CF Crook. 2. Wash Moore married Eliza Susan Walker (08Feb1850-21Jan1921) on 08Nov1868 in Fayette county- Eliza was also a daughter of Madison &Mary Walker. I don't know if these Moores link to my line.
