I am researching my husband's direct lines. His father was Joseph Elbert Horrocks (Lansing) m. Clara Eva Pennington. Grandfather was James Horrocks (m. Sarah Adkins). Great-grandfather was John Horrocks (b. 1851 England) married to Elizabeth Kenyon (b. 1851 England). Lived on Sewell Mt. John & Elizabeth's children that I know of were: William (b. 1872 England); Ellen b 1874; Mary b. 1876; John b. 1878; Elizabeth b. 1880; James born 1884. I have reason to believe there may have also been another son whom I cannot identify.

I am also researching his maternal line (Penningtons). His grandfather was Howard Pennington who married Ruth Minerva Walker (b. 10/29/85 in Virginia; died 9/26/79 in West Virginia). I would love to her parents' names and where in Virginia they originally lived. Although we have traced the Penningtons back to 1750, we have been unable to locate the Walkers' Virginia connection.

If anyone can help me out with any information on either of these families, I'd appreciate it.
