Hi , my name is Mindy Lyn Higginbotham, Prater Boyd...I am the great grand-daughter of Ruth Minerva Walker Pennington, Her daughter Leona Hazel Pennington Higginbotham Payne was my fathers mother. My father's name was Joseph Jimmy Lee Higginbotham. all are deceased. Ruth Minerva Walker's parents were: Zachariah Whitten Walker and her mother's name was Mary Alice Snodgrass. Her father Zachariah also at one time was married to Lucinda Daniel they had 3 children...their names were Nancy Maude Walker , Dewey Walker and unknown child...with Mary Snodgrass they had the one child Ruth Minerva. Ruth had 14 children...Arnold, Estel Raymond, Earl Velvet, Arthur Nathan, Oretha, Asley, Leona Hazel, Nellie "Gladys", Clara Eva, Jimmy Lee and Albert. There was also a stillborn or one that died after birth.
