John William AYERS was a section foreman @ Russellville & was employed by the C. & O. Railroad for 35+ yrs. I know he had 8 children in 1953 when he was 71yrs old.

***His Obit states he was a section foreman for the Nicholas, Fayette & Greenbrier Railway.

He married Alice Missouri Haynes & children were Hallie Missouri, John William Jr., Ronzie Emory, Helen D, Giles Camlin, Thelma May, Ocia Frances, and Benjamin Franklin Ayers.

I believe Alice M Haynes is the daughter of William Haynes & Nancy M Willis also from Fayette Co.. Anyone who has any information on this family please let me know.
