Edith Marie Martin

OAK HILL- Edith Marie Martin, 84, died Friday, July 16, 1999, in a Beckley
hospital following a short illness.

Born Aug. 28, 1914, in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late
Albert Wayne and Mary Alice Lilly Willey.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Memorial Baptist
Church, Oak Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Martin; and a daughter,
Alice June Burgess.

Survivors include two grandsons, Eddie Ramsey and his wife, Linda, of
Fayetteville and Gene Ramsey and his wife, Brenda, of Albany, Ga.; a
son-in-law, Earl Burgess of Hilltop; four great-grandchildren; and eight
great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. today at Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak
Hill, with the Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue
Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley.

Friends may call noon to 12:45 p.m. today at the church.
