My gr-gr-grandmother was Sallie Henshaw b about 1821 in Tennessee, married William Forester b about 1818 in Roane Tennessee.They moved to Gap Arkansas where my gr-grandmother, Drucilla L Forester was born in 1862. They had a son, Othenial.I found her mother's maiden name on her death announcement of 1960 in Lamb County texas. I think Sallie was Indian and William , Irish.I can find no info on Sallie but one of the tax docs says they owned 169 acres in Arkansas. Both Drucilla L and daughter, Drucilla Pearl were tight lipped about any Indian background, though they both were very dark and high cheekboned.She was dis-owned when she married William B Henson and no one knows why. Can you help?
