Hi
I'm looking for any information relative to this chap. All I know is that he was from Calhoun County, born 1920 and enlisted to US Army from Calhoun in 1942. He died in action and is buried in a military cemetary in Margraten in Netherlands.

He was a geographer and was grammar school educated. If anyone can help I would be truly grateful.

Marlo was the son of Hence & Alice Parsons. The family appears in the 1930 census but not in earlier Calhoun Census. Also, Hence & Alice were not married in Calhoun Co

Marlo, was the son of Robert Henderson Parsons and Alice Louvada Nicholas. Calhoun County marriage records ... Alice Nicholas age 19. daughter of RA Nicholas (Robert Anderson) m. R. H. Parsons age 33 March 9, 1909,(Robert Henderson) son of Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Campbell Parsons. Marlo had a sister Gathie, brother Perry E. and brother Teddy. Alice b.Nov. 14 1889 d. Nov. 29 1973 . Robert Henderson was born April 4, 1874. d. Sept. 26, 1955. Both are buried in the Nicholas Cemetery, head of Bear Run.

I have a picture of Hence and Alice with Marlos' brother and sister. I also have a picture of Marlo. I believe he lived on Crummies Creek I remember being there once. One of his brothers still live on Crummies Creek

Oh my goodness - Gerry, I've just started to research Marlo Parsons again and have only just seen your response from 2005!!

If you have pictures of Marlo and relations I would be delighted if you could share these with me.

I'm really sorry for not getting in touch sooner - career changes and two children since 2005 may have had something to do with it!!

Do you know if Teddie Parsons is still alive - I'm presuming he is the brother you were referring to who still lives in Crummies Creek??
