Otto M Pollock, 78, LaPorte, Indiana, died at 6:35 p.m. January 14, 1988, at Memorial Hospital. The funeral was at the Southwind Immanueal Church with the Rev. Raymond Laborde officiating. Entombment was in the Chapel of the Chimes Mausoleum, Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Services were conducted by Carlisle Funeral Home. Mr. Pollock was born Oct. 2, 1909, in Huntington, WV. He was the son of Harry and Willia-Clay Price Pollock and the grandson of John B. Price and Isabelle Combs Price of Cottageville, WV. He was a great-grandson of William H. Combs and Sarah Susan (Sallie) Flowerree Combs of West Virginia. Surviving are a son, Kester Pollock, San Antonio, Texas, three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, four sisters, Leonara Roames, Mary Dabbert, Geneva Bethke and Erma Hahm all of Michigan City, Indiana. Two brothers, Clay and Joseph Pollock, and a sister, Alice Murray, are deceased. Mr. Pollock was a retired conductor for the South Shore Railroad with 41 years of service. He was a member of the Southwind Immanueal Church and a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve.
