My father, born in Wood Co., WV, recently told me that we are related to Lou Holtz, the famous retired coach of Notre Dame. I'm trying to establish whether this is true and would like to know who Lou Holtz's parents were. According to information I have been able to locate, Lou Holtz was born Louis Leo Holtz on January 06, 1937 in Follansbee, Brooke Co., WV. Would anyone know more about Lou Holtz's ancestors?
