Benjamin Allen d.1790 Clark Co., KY

I'm researching a Benjamin Allen who was killed by Indians December 1790 in Clark Co., KY. He migrated to Clark Co., KY in 1790 from what was probably Hampshire Co., VA at that time but had been part of Frederick Co. From an interview his son Benjamin did with Shane c1850, they lived in several places up along on the VA side of the Potomac near Maryland and Pennsylvania.

In particular I am wondering if any male decendant of this Benjamin Allen has taken a DNA test.

A Michael W. Ragan posted some years ago that this Benjamin was his brick wall on a Ragan board.

Dear family,
I am interested in your family as well. My daughter has been in contact with Zachary for over a year, she is four now. She says there is a Mom , Dad, zack comes to her as a little boy and his sister . Is this ypur family and if so how did zack pass? The family is only four and they are very protective of the little girl. There are quite a few , but she knows zack the longest and the name Sara.she confused the C name and said Casper , as she can associate with him . This is NOT a trick, they scare me especially Zacks Father. He's very aggressive. If this sounds familiar contact me if not sorry to have bothered you .
Looking for information on John Thornburg of Berkeley Co. He was a son of Thomas Thornburg Sr.; married a Sarah Bentley; and had a daughter, Eleanor, who married Jeptha Morgan. John's brother Thomas married widow Prudence (Bentley) Collins. Both couples married in Frederick Co., Md., and then lived in Berkeley/Jefferson Cos., WV.

John is mentioned in others' wills and as administrator of others' estates, but I can't seem to find his own will.

John appears in the 1810 census for Jeffferson, and he and wife Sarah are named in August of that year as parties to a land transaction. But my trail goes cold after this. Tx for any insight.

MacDonald Family in Berkeley County

I am seeking to determine the date/location of the death of Mary Elizabeth (Biggerstaff) MacDonald, widow of Walter Angus MacDonald - and to document the maiden name of her mother.

Mary was born 7 Nov 1839 in Morgan County (parents Isaac and Elizabeth Biggerstaff). She married Walter Angus McDonald/MacDonald on 7 Mar 1859, in Morgan County.

Mary is known to have been living at 221 W. Race Street in 1915 (Polk's City Directory). Her name does not appear in later directories.

WV Archives website does not have images of Berkeley County death records for 1915-1916 - and I have not found her in available records 1917 and beyond. Other members of her family are buried at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery - so I suspect she is also buried there.

One of her sons, James I. MacDonald, married Bella Genevieve Martin, sister of lawyer/judge Clarence E. Martin, Sr.

Please respond if you can help me document the death and parentage of Mary Elizabeth (Biggerstaff) McDonald/ MacDonald - whom I suspect died 1915-1917 in Berkeley County.

My grandfather was Harold W. Henry. He moved from Martinsburg to the Pittsburgh, PA area, as did several of his brothers, and died in Pennsylvania in 1972. When he married my grandmother he had already been previously married and had a 5 year-old daughter. His first wife had died but I don't have information on where/when they were married.

How are you related?
