Gardner/Black
Daniel Black married Mary Gardner on June 23, 1805 in Berkeley County, VA. The couple migrated to Carroll County, OH.
In a Bible that belonged to Daniel Black which was donated to the Marshall County Historical Society in Indiana the following entries are found:
“Minutes of my wifes relations
her Brother Peter Gardner was Born May 30th 1777 1797
Married to Rebeca Margan on December 1896
She died 21st February 1845
her Sister Sally Gardner Died the 23 of April 1830
her Brother Jacob Gardner Died 1829 aged 69 years
her Mother Barbara died in 1829 aged 84 years”
Obviously the marriage date for Peter Gardner is incorrect, but I have transcribed to the best of my abilities exactly as written.
If anyone has connections to Mary Gardner I would like to share information.
Thank you,
Jane
