I'm looking for any available information on (General) Ord Thompson, formerly Chief of Police of Gassaway, WV; killed in the line of duty in April 1915 by William "Holly, Holley, Hollie" Griffith of Wirt County. Originally from Belington, Thompson is interred at Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins. Particular interest would be a period photograph, contact with descendants, etc.
